Johannesburg, 31 July 2017 – Riversands Incubation Hub is proud to announce that Dr Aisha Pandor will be one of the speakers at FundEX2017 on Thursday 17 August 2017 from 09h00 to 17h00. But who is Dr Pandor and why should you listen to her?
Dr Pandor is the co-founder of SweepSouth, an online platform for ordering and paying for home cleaning services within a few minutes. Some have dubbed her business which she co-founded with her husband Alen Ribic, “The Uber of cleaning”.
In founding SweepSouth, Dr Pandor and her husband wanted to modernise home services and to be the African pioneers in bringing technology to the industry. Dr Pandor studied at the University of Cape Town (UCT) where she completed a PhD degree in Human Genetics and a Business Management certificate at the UCT Graduate School of Business. She received a South African Women in Science Award in 2011 and was named in the Mail and Guardian’s List of 200 Young South Africans in 2012.
Join us on 17 August to hear the incredible story of how she co-founded founded SweepSouth and how she and her team have managed to grow it into a business that has over two thousand cleaners and thousands of satisfied customers being served monthly.
